  1. Hi Kip,

I heard you talk about your WhyFI on a Paula Pant podcast recorded at a CampFI in Colorado. I Love your story and even more, I love what you are doing!! I hope all is well with you and your family!!

I went to a CampFI in FL in January of 2018. For a team-building experience, the group went through kind of an obstacle course type thing the venue had out in the woods. Out of the 30 or so that participated, I was the “weak link”. I was the slowest and most physically awkward person there!! At 58 years old and 6’2″ I weighed a whopping 250 pounds. Soon after that CampFI, I found out my bad cholesterol was 185!! About this same time my older sister spent almost a month in ICU in an induced coma with the flu! She is fine now. My father went into a nursing home. Seeing his mental and physical health decline, as well as the plight of the other residents, I knew I had to make a change. Somehow I came across the wonderful Dr. Michael Gregor and How Not To Die. Vegan I went!
In October of 2019, I went to the Jim Collins Chautauqua event in Portugal. I weighed 190, I brought my road bike and did a lot of cycling in the Portugal countryside. My bad cholesterol is in the 80’s. I’ve lost 60 pounds and cut my cholesterol by more than 50%.
Thank you for letting me share all of this!!
I heard you talk about the plant-based coaching business you have. Being 59 now, I am 2 or 3 years away from leaving my job. I have thought about how I can help others improve their health and finances. I would love to correspond with you about what you are doing. Please feel free to email me and we can start a conversation.
Thank you very much for your inspiration!!
    Bernie
